Ms. Cheap Offers Items for Nonprofits

Chance arises for nonprofits to pick from list of free stuff

Most of us have good, useful things sitting around idle – things we no longer use but hang onto because we don’t know what to do with them.

These “things” are taking up space and cluttering up our lives, but we just can’t bear to throw them out knowing that someone else might be able to make good use of them.

At the same time, I know that charities are hurting as they try to offer more services with fewer resources.

So today I’m asking nonprofits across Middle Tennessee to tell me if they can use any of these once-loved items that people have jumbling up their closets, basements and attics.

New Technology Grant Opportunity

Dynamic Edge of Nashville is accepting applications for its Technology Grant Program.Established in 2007 the program assists local non-profit organizations fund a project they may have put aside due to funding issues, lack of expertise or both. Recognizing the need for small businesses to partner with their non-profit neighbors, especially in these trying economic times, Dynamic Edge owner, Bruce McCully, has made community service part of his ongoing business commitment. Through the Technology Grant Program, Dynamic Edge will help local non-profit organizations by providing start-up funding for a specific IT project, helping organizations assess and budget for their long term IT needs and assess and improve existing technology projects.

Boult, Cummings, Conners & Berry, PLC to Offer Pro Bono Services for CNM Members

 

 

 

 

The law firm of Boult, Cummings, Conners & Berry has announced the implementation of a pro bono program to respond to the legal needs of the Middle Tennessee nonprofit community.

The program is designed to deliver legal services to nonprofits of limited means where the payment of standard legal fees would significantly deplete the organization’s economic resources. Additional information on BCCB’s Pro Bono policy can be found at: http://www.boultcummings.com/probono/.
