Belmont Social Entrepreneurship Students Offer Grant Writing for Nonprofits

Dr. Bernard Turner, a consultant for CNM, and the Director of the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Service-Learning at Belmont University, has students who would like to write grant applications for local nonprofits. Upcoming Workshop on Earned Income Development

CNM Consultant to Head New Belmont Program

Belmont to launch social entrepreneurship program

Belmont University plans to develop a new undergraduate program in social entrepreneurship – the idea of using business principles to address social issues – and has hired a Meharry administrator to run the center.

Bernard Turner will head up the Center for Social Entrepreneurship and Service Learning. At Meharry, he was associate vice president for corporate and foundation relations. He also has worked with various area nonprofits and run workshops at the Center for Nonprofit Management.
